Mooce (pronounced 'Mutzy') is a Czech word for kisses and cuddles. How cute! It's also the sentiment that Petra Jones drew upon to name her lovely carefree kids fashion label, designed in Brisbane.

Designed for girls age 2 to 6 years, the current summer collection "Love" is created to mix-and-match with a palette of watermelon, turquoise, sand and white in 100% cotton. Mida clothes for boys

One for the boys! I'm always excited to come across great Australian-designed clothes for boys, so was thrilled to hear from kids clothing designer Janet, with an intro to her label Mida, for little blokes. Combined with cool train and fish fabric created exclusively for Mida by Bondville favourite Saffron Craig, I think Janet's onto a winner. What a great collaboration.

The Mida range of clothes for boys age 1-6 years includes tops, hoodies, pants, shorts, bucket hats and pyjamas. Oh the pyjamas! These are some of the best pj's for boys that I have seen. They look soooo comfy. I think Janet should add the description "leisurewear" to these sets, as they are too fun for just bedtime.

Inklet eco-friendly childrenswear

I'm a huge fan of the Ink & Spindle eco-friendly textiles and surface art, so when the Melbourne-based girls teamed with childrenswear designer Dana from Twiglet, I knew the resulting collaboration was going to be something pretty special. Behold, Inklet eco-friendly kids clothing!

You'll find a great range of t-shirts and onesies (sizes 0-4), bibs and blankets with fun trams and bikes, ocean faring, and sweet twig motifs. All Inklet products are locally made with certified organic cotton fabrics and screen printed by hand with water-based, environmentally-friendly inks.

All items are designed and made by friends and design partners Jamie Lee and Michelle Lee in Sydney and presented in hand screen-printed calico bags. I asked Jamie and Michelle a few questions about their fabulous label...

Can you tell us a little about the history of your label?
We are university buddies (nope, we’re not sisters) and Minyaka Design is our first collaboration. Jamie has a background in interior architecture and Michelle in fashion design. Although we come from different disciplines, we share the same vision so it works!

It was always so difficult to find beautiful, quality gifts for children, so we decided to do something about it. Now one year later and after many all-nighters, we are very excited and proud to finally see the fruits of our hard work with the launch of our first summer collection and the winter one just around the corner!

Both of us are passionate about the well-being of children and the environment and this has inspired the way we do things and our decision to use eco-friendly fabrics such as organic cotton, bamboo and hemp. We are also supportive of the local industry. All our products are made in Australia and we source locally where possible.

What makes Minyaka Design different?
Children’s clothes need to be functional but they can be so much more! All our clothes make us wish we were children again, just so we can wear them! Take our bubble dress for instance, how we wish we had one when we were little!

Childhood is so short and precious. So we put a lot of love into all our creations and hope that our beautiful and fun things can add something special to the photo albums and memories of mums, dads and families.

What is the inspiration for your collection?
We believe the simplest, most natural creations are often the best. We aim for each creation to reflect Mother Nature’s simple, elegant style with our own playful twist.

If you could pick an ice-cream flavour for Minyaka Design, what would it be?
Vanilla of course! It’s an all time classic favourite. It’s so simple yet it will get along with any toppings…strawberries, chocolate, nuts, sprinkles, you name it!!

What is your favourite thing about Minyaka Design?
We try to make each of our customer’s experience special. Our products even come packaged in a calico bag personally sewn and screen printed by us!

This is just the beginning, there’s a lot more to come!!

Can you tell us a little about the history of your label?

Very young! I have been a designer for 7 years, mainly in women's wear and maternity. It wasn't until I had my daughter (she turns two next week, and the model for the range) that I started sewing samples for Pippa Little. My daughter, Poppy, is quite outrageous and loud. The designs definately reflect her personality. Summer 2011 is our first collection and we have just delivered into 21 stores around Australia.

What makes Pippa Little & Little Miss Pippa different?

I paint my own fabric designs so I hope that gives the label a little edge. Also, I am a lover of quirky things and love it when my daughter turns heads with her outfits. It makes me giggle. Hopefully other mums feel the same way about dressing their girls.

What is the inspiration for your collection?

My inspiration is always about turning something nice and classic into something out of the ordinary. I will find inspiration anywhere and then put my spin on it. It makes me tick.

If you could pick an icecream flavour for Pippa Little & Little Miss Pippa, what would it be?

Easy. Rocky Road. With less nuts, more marshmallows.

What is your favourite thing about Pippa Little & Little Miss Pippa?

That they are brand new and anything is possible. I'm excited!

Little Bird, Little Bird organic childrenswear

When I arrived home from the Sunshine Coast on Monday I was greeted with the most gorgeous lookbook in the mail for a brand new organic childrenswear label - Little Bird, Little Bird. As I flipped through to the fabric samples, I knew immediately that this was the work of Rachel Bending from sustainable design brand Bird Textiles in Byron Bay.

You'll notice the quality of the fabric straight away. The organic textiles are hand printed using water-based dyes in a range of Rachel's recognisable surface designs.

The first collection will focus on little girls to 3 years and includes a smock dress, pinafore and playsuit in olive green, inky blue and claret red on a natural base cloth. These are classy pieces in durable fabric with sweet ruffled finishes. Gosh, it's going to be hard to choose.

Little Bird, Little Bird designs will be released in small, limited edition collections and will be available exclusively on the website from 20th September 2011. But you'll have to be quick! Head over to the Little Bird, Little Bird Facebook page to get ordering information before the launch date.

GUESS WHAT!!! The ever-so-clever Andrea Rembeck from Tutu du Monde has shared with us her new collection of heavenly party frocks and tutus for little girls. First look here!

This new collection from Tutu du Monde continues the theme of beautiful vintage-style pieces to make girls feel like princesses. As well as the ever-gorgeous tutus with stretch jersey singlet tops, there are sweet capelets, cloches, bows and bazillions of sequins.

These dresses and outfits even look great as time goes by. Yes they are special occasion dresses - flower girls, parties, birthdays - but wear well for everyday too. Our purple tutu has been dragged through the proverbial mud for over a year and still looks fantastic - a little boho chic now. (throw away those itchy polyester Sleeping Beauty things!)

fINNIGAN fINN kids clothes

We spend a lot of time on the Sunshine Coast and whenever we are there I always find myself scouring the Eumundi Markets for up-and-coming kids fashion labels. It's where I discovered Humble Bumble, Birikini, Butterscotch Castle, Funky Monkey sock monkeys and my favourite girls clothing label, Wild Bear.

Children's label fINNIGAN fINN is another Eumundi find that I'd love to share with you. fINNIGAN fINN was established in Queensland in 2004 by sisters Deborah and Linda (who has won numerous awards during her 20 years in the fashion industry). The collection includes infantwear, boys and girlswear in sizes 000 to 9.

I've bought two different tights for my girls (see above) that have lasted a number of seasons, and a great quality corduroy tunic (in green above). I particularly like the jeans for both boys and girls, with white stitching detail, tie waist and oversize pockets.

I totally love the styling of this photo shoot for Babushka Baby - it's oh-so-Hiawatha Hip. Clever Belinda Stabb is the brains (and style!) behind Babushka Baby and recently wrote to me to introduce her gorgeous range of ethically-produced clothes for girls aged 3 months to 6 years.

The Autumn/Winter 2011 range (Babushka Baby's second collection) is full of lovely pieces reminiscent of folk tales and adventures in the woods. You'll find play-friendly pinafore dresses, reversible skirts, quilted jackets, shirred blouses, booties, bibs and lovely patchwork quilts.

Babushka Baby clothes are designed in Melbourne and made from 100% cotton with folk-inspired prints, hand embroidery, lace and quilting. All quilted bibs and booties are made from remnants resulting from production processes and which would otherwise be waste.

I'm partial to the reversible skirts and ruffled-sleeved pinafore dresses. And a pair of Minnetonka moccasins may have just made their way to the top of my wish list (for me!).

Knuffle Kids clothes for 1-8 year olds

While chatting to the lovely Caitlin Boyce (designer of amazing jewellery for kids and Mums) at the Kids InStyle show a few months ago, I couldn't stop looking at the kids clothes on one half of her booth - cool retro styling with original fabric designs. I had to find out more.

It turns out that Caitlin was sharing a booth with Emma from Knuffle Kid and we quickly got chatting about her great label. Made by hand in Melbourne, Knuffle Kid features Emma's environmentally-friendly fabric designs (printed locally by cult textile printers Ink and Spindle) and lots of flare.

Kunffle Kid's current Winter collection includes pieces for boys and girls aged 1-8 years old. My favourite pieces are the every-girl-needs-one-this-season cape and the head-turning Ava skirt. And Emma, you had me at the sassy redhead model! This label is unique and fun, just like the little ones in our lives.

MOZI mini clothes for babies

I was beyond excited to open my email yesterday and discover that much-loved Australian design brand MOZI has launched a collection for babies. Always on-the-money, MOZI's new design includes red, pink and blue bunnies, leaping lambs, pouncing cats, ambling elephants, and other sweet animals.

Aptly named MOZI mini, the collection includes clothing (rompers, long pant sets, booties and beanies), accessories (blankets, bibs, wraps, towels and toy bags) and bath and body products (body wash, body lotion, massage oil and soap). I have a feeling they are going to fly out the door.

Butterscotch Castle swimwear and leisurewear for girls

Here's one for the kids and for the Mums too - fabulous fashion for babies, girls and women, made from men's business shirts. Butterscotch Castle designer Debra Lee Cheyne incorporates cottons, laces and men's business shirts into her range of swimwear and leisurewear for girls and women.

The girls' range includes bikini's, one-pieces, shirt dresses and skirts. It's a little bit Moulin Rouge and a lot of sweet and sassy with plenty of shirring, cleverly-puckered hemlines - textile techniques that Debra applies for that wow factor.

Based in Noosa, Debra was inspired by her two children to create limited edition pieces for girls. But then the mothers buying the shirt-dresses and skirts for their daughters wanted the edgy fashion lines for themselves, so Debra started designing for women also. Light, breezy and totally unique, these pieces of art are great for expectant mothers too.

Oishi-m kids clothes Autumn/Winter 2011

The new Kikoshi hoodies from Melbourne-based Oishi-m were hot, hot, hot at the Kids In Style trade show last month. Aren't they adorable? The cross-over style, double-breasted buttons (for expanding girths!) and Japanese fabric lining takes them out of the realm of ordinary.

Remember the cool Oishi-m jeans for babies and tots? They really are my absolute favourite jeans for kids with their roomy kimono fabric bottoms and tummy warmer waistbands. Lucky for us, they now come in velveteen with a wider leg - the Velveteen Chubba Pant (mmm, cosy). No more complaining about boring fashion for little boys, my friends! These pieces (apart from the cutey new skirt) are truly unisex.

Dear Charlotte, Love Banjo clothes for kids

Another great addition to the old-is-new-again trend in kids fashion design is lovely Perth label Dear Charlotte, Love Banjo that I got to see up-close at Kids In Style last month.

Designers Sally Roberts and Emerald Leach have poured lashings of old-fashioned sweetness into their children's clothes for little boys and girls up to size 1. Just try and resist the cuteness of these rompers, high-waisted shortalls, sunsuits, overalls, divine dresses and bonnets.

The two ranges Everyday Heirlooms and Heirlooms Divine are just that - lovely pieces that will be handed down, and handed down again. You'll never go wrong with the classic styling. My fave? 'Milly Can Fly' high-waisted all-in-one denim and floral shortalls (see pic above).

Oh and yes, I think that might be a real pig in those pics above!

Eeni Meeni Miini Moh and e3-M Autumn/Winter 2011

Little Chillies clothes for girls

Another great Kids In Style find was family business and Australian children's label Little Chillies. Based in Melbourne, three generations of the Little Chillies family are dedicated to creating baby and toddler clothes (sizes 000 to 4 years) with a huge dose of vintage design and a nod to French style.

I love the classic red, cream, navy and blue colour scheme, the perfect ribbon pleats and wool coats and oh! those shoes. Little Chillies is a welcome addition to the nostalgic trend we've been seeing in children's clothes. I can see us all dressing our little ones in knickerbockers and peter pan collars this season.

Sophie's Lane special occasion dresses for little girls

Here is a girls' fashion label that I just can't get out of my head. Sophie's Lane takes the beautiful girly look of sweet prints and notalgic styling that we have been seeing recently and amps up the volume. Wow!

Sophie's Lane's line of heavenly frocks for little girls and babies are just breathtaking. All the dresses in the debut "Liberty" range are made from exquisite Liberty Of London material and made to order. Just look at the quality and detail in these classic-with-a-modern-twist designs.

More gorgeous Australian-designed kids clothes for you today (found through the QLD Flood fundraisers), this time from Melbourne where Ebony crafts each piece of her delightful the Off the Peg children's label by hand.

These are fun, bright pieces for boys and girls sizes 4-11, in my favourite colour combo of white, sky blue and red. And throw in some dark denim and polka dots just to amp up the cuteness factor. It's all turned cuffs, ruffles (and more ruffles) and hand-finished details and 100% Japanese cotton fabrics. Beautiful work.

Another great Australian-designed label for kids that I have come across through the QLD Flood Appeal auctions on Facebook is Itty Bitty Butts. Can you just stand it?

Tenae from Itty Bitty Butts makes the most adorable bloomers/nappy covers in lovely summery fabrics with row upon row of girly pleated ruffles. Who doesn't love a ruffley butt? Just too lovely.

Tenae did a fabulous job organising a huge auction on her Facebook page and raised over $2,500 for the QLD Flood Appeal. Thank you Tenae for all your hard work!

I have found so many amazing Australian kids clothes designers through the Shop The Flood! appeal for the QLD floods. One brand that really stood out was Trellis Design - a Brisbane-based label featuring gorgeous clothes and accessories for girls age 1-6.

The detail in Trellis Design clothing is spectacular. I just adore the ruffles, yo-yo's and swirls. And how about that playsuit (tell me you had one when you were a kid too!). My friend Carmen knows what I like and was spot-on when she sent me the link to Sydney-based Kaftan Kids. These colourful kaftans for 1-5 year olds are sun-savvy, easy-wearing and super super cute to boot.

The kaftans are made from 100% cotton and cotton voile with embroidery, ribbon and beadwork - each one handcrafted. Naturally they are perfect for the beach, but I think they are gorgeous for special occasions too. I'd like one for my girls in every colour thank you very much (and one for me too with my fair skin). Which is your favourite?

Elisha Niven from MonetPaisley Swimwear is totally inspiring. And inspired. Through craft blogging she was inspired to find her niche. And through a chambray and red gingham cotton bikini that her mum saved from the 70's, she was inspired to design her unique and beautiful line of vintage-style swimwear for toddlers to teens.

Based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Elisha found that the cotton bikinis she made for her girls six years ago fit for longer and lasted longer than lycra swimsuits. And after honing her design and testing on friends and family, she launched a beautiful range of two-piece swimwear in light weight cotton fabrics that dry quickly and are light and breezy for play before and after dip.

These are not your ordinary togs. I adore the sweet prints, gathers and ruffles that take these bikinis to a different level. Sweet and sassy, they really are very special. And handmade!

Lucky for us, Elisha has also been inspired to design kaftans, maillot for toddlers that can fit over a swim nappy, sun hats, sun dresses and beach bags. I can't wait.

The Spring/Summer 2010 collection of kids clothes from Sydney-based Rowantree Design combines all my current favourite looks. Delicate prints? Check. Ruffles upon ruffles? Check. Bow ties and ribbons? Check. Easy breezy designs? Check. Nostalgic shapes? Check.

With a keen eye for pattern and shape, Roberta Easton has put together a gorgeous Australian-made clothing collection for boys, girls and babies 0-5 years. These are clothes for little girls and boys that celebrate this precious age, and let them just be kids. The collared shirts for boys are so smart, and in groovy retro colourways. The peasant tops for girls are simply classic, and the gorgeous knickeroos for baby girls are heaven-sent. I really don't think you can go wrong.

New label alert! Remember this one... When I saw the delicate prints, soft colour palette, sweet ruffles and shoulder ties of the underneath the apple tree label, I immediately knew where designer Kelly Andersen was going with her beautiful handmade childrens' clothes. These are special pieces that make precious little girls look like precious little girls.

Sydney-based Kelly is Mum to three little girls, a four years old and two year old twins! You can imagine that they are amazing inspiration for her. Kelly's first collection includes dresses, tunic tops and pinafores that will make your little ones look like angels. It's all spring and sweetness and light. Can't you just imagine these sweet girlies running through meadows and picking flowers?

Bondville favourite Wild Things of Noosa from the Sunshine Coast has some great new handmade pieces for boys and girls for the summer.

These longboard shorts for boys 1-4 years are just the right length and printed with cool-as-cucumber surfboards. The pocket on the back is perfect for keeping a matchbox car safe, or other special treasure.

And for baby girls I can't got past these ballerina ruffle Ballet Bloomers. The pants in sizes 00-2 feature two layers of soft white tulle and a ruffle of pink pinspot cotton.

It's always such a pleasure to share with you the amazing new collections from Bondville sponsor eeni meeni miini moh®, and the Spring/Summer 2010 pieces for 0-5 years are more gorgeous than ever.

Tutu Du Monde tutus for girls

It's birthday mania at our place right now, with a pink and purple party mood board (I kid you not), party goodies arriving in the post, and cupcakes in the oven. It's really going to be just a little party, but it's the event of the year for the Bondville soon-to-be 3 year old and I like to encourage her creativity and excitement.

And a birthday girl has to have a party dress, right? when I spotted the glorious purple tutu (top) at Mathilda's Markets last month, I just had to squirrel it away. Shhhh.... don't tell!

Andrea Rembeck from Tutu Du Monde creates magical dresses and tutu's for dress-up and everyday. The dresses are works of art - hand dyed in pastel colours and detailed with sequins, beads, feathers and lots of lovely tulle. It's truly hard to pick a favourite (I dare you).

Andrea Rembeck is an established fashion designer and has designed for labels such as Collette Dinnigan and Fleur Wood and her own labels Andrea Rembeck and diffusion line She’s Beck. When her daughter asked for a tutu, Andrea created her own vintage-feel versions with a "lighter footprint" that are practical for play but will still transport your lovelies to enchanted forests. And luckily they are "made to last, and in fact, get better with wear. Slight fading and fraying edges adds to their charm over time". With the amount of wear and tear at our house, this is good news.

So here's to fairies and princesses and ballerinas and pink and purple and frothy dancing dresses and 3 year old parties. Such a special time.

Oishi-m kids clothes review

Earlier this year, my friends at incredibly cool kids brand Oishi-m sent me a couple of items to test on the Bondville baby and big girl. (see Bondville Kids article about Oishi-m here).

And boy, have they had a work-out. The two tops were surprisingly soft and the envelope necklines make them a favourite for my big girl to dress herself. The colours and design always get a lot of compliments.

And the jeans. Oh the jeans! You can see from the pics above just how darn cute Baby Bondville looks in her Oishi-m's. The extra-wide waistband means her tummy isn't exposed when her shirt rides up, and the long cuffs mean she will continue to get wear out of them. Isn't that kimono fabric butt adorable?

Castlebox clothes for 3-10 year olds

I always find such gorgeous children's clothing designers at the Mathilda's Markets and last week in Sydney was no exception. One of my favourite new finds was the sweet collection from up-and-coming designer Faith of Castlebox.

Based in Melbourne, Faith designs absolutely beautiful French-inspired pieces for boys and girls. I feel a real movement towards more conservative, vintage-feel designs for kids at the moment, and Castlebox is right on trend with lovely liberty prints and smart clothes for little ones.

The range for children 3-10 years is designed and handmade in Australia and includes knitwear, dresses, pants, shirts, tops and skirts. Two of the pieces that really caught my eye were the v-necked Castlebox Classic jumpers for boys with contrasting lined "pockets". Clever and unique. And the lovely little-house-on-the-prairie Matilda dresses for girls. And of course I loved all the accessories that Faith makes. Think headbands with tulle, mirror fairy brooches and other handmade goodies. Paired with a pair of Walnut Melbourne shoes, you've got a lovely little outfit.

Bluebelle kids underwear

It's my big girl's 3rd birthday coming up and I have been searching everywhere for lovely retro paper straws. I was checking out the great Twiggi online party store, and on the blog, found owner Leonie's fabulous kids underwear label Bluebelle.

Swoon! Designed in Victoria and made from 95% organically-grown bamboo cotton, Leonie's range of singlets, knickers and trunks are truly gorgeous. More modest than most undies available for little ones, the underwear is both precious for a special occasion, and great for everyday romping around.

I absolutely love these sets; so perfect for when it all gets too hot in summer. It's lovely to see designs like these - inspired by an older generation - look so modern and fresh on our little ones. The trend towards vintage-feel clothes has really captured my heart at the moment (more Australian designers in this genre coming your way soon!).

Iconic Oobi Baby and Kids

There is a great thread on the Oobi Facebook Page at the moment that asks fans what their favourite Oobi clothes are (from recent collections and archives). There are some lovely pieces on there, and I thought I would weigh in with some of my favourite pieces that have had much use from the Babies Bondville:

Little Bear Hoodie Jacket
One of my favourites (we have the chocolate and pink version), this knit is made from cotton and has undergone countless washes (machine, cold, delicate cycle) and two girls.

Ruby Rabbit
Truly iconic, the Ruby Rabbit has been hugged and squeezed and still looks great. I'm sure has made its way as a hip accessory into many a designer living room.

Bat Romper
Goodness this has been a little head-turner! It may have been designed with boys in mind, but like the dinosaur egg print, this bat design looks amazing on my girls.

Gelati Dots Party Dress
This was Sophie's first party dress and I still adore it. I was first attracted to the gorgeous candy-coloured spotty fabric, and we still get use out of the matching rosette. Too sweet.

Striped Knit Pinny
This pinny makes even the plainest outfit look stylish and is the piece that keeps on keeping on. Layer it over everything for years.

Dotty Raincoat
A relatively new addition, this raincoat is sunny and fun to brighten up those dreary days.

Parisienne bloomers
And of course the Parisienne bloomers which I believe started a huge return to frilly knickers four years ago and were my first introduction to the delights of Oobi.

And thanks to the amazing sale yesterday, we now have a fabulous tulip reversible cancan skirt, a pink April skirt, pink spotty tights and three more hats for our big girls' birthday. What are your favourites? I'm sure that Alex and crew from Oobi would love to know!

Happy Mothers Day Mums! Here's something I thought you would like. Nanna and Pops came back from the Peregian Beach Markets last Sunday with the most gorgeous skirt for Sophie - red and white chequered yoke with adorable skirt featuring little French boys and girls. I had to find out more. The designers are the very clever Victoria and Kay from Brusselsprouts - a great kids clothing label based in Kalgoorlie, WA.

I found a range of divine clothes on the Brusselsprouts website - lovely designer fabrics fashioned into sweet pieces for boys and girls. My favourite are the pieces incorporating crochet pockets and edgings and the to-die-for crochet cardigan. LOVE! (oh, and if you loved the Alice in Wonderland movie as much as I did, you'll adore the Alice In Wonderland Pinny!)

Oh what a divine line of children's wear. Olive's Friend Pop transports us to yesteryear with its pinafores, bonnets, bloomers, knickerbockers and wool capes for little girls. Inspired by the post-World War II era of our grandmothers, this is "nostalgic playwear" made with durable fabric for play and for special occasions too. These pieces are meant for handing down.

The tailoring is exquisite and the fabric choices sweet as can be. I particularly love the wool-blend herringbone overalls picture above. Pop on a head scarf and some mary janes to complete the look. I'd love one in Mummy size too please.

You know I love companies that have great ethical practices - those striving for a carbon neutral environment, eco-friendly products, fair trade practices, social responsibility, etc. And I always get excited to find those companies that also have fabulous products for Mum, Kids and Home.

One of those is cornflowerblue who have a divine collection of organic cotton dresses and sleepwear for little girls under the cornflowerblue Organic label. The Australian-designed clothes are made in India where workers are paid a fair price and manufacture the clothes in humane environments. I'm totally in love with the vintage-meets-Japanese-meets-denim duds from Victorian kids clothing label Oishi-m. Hip, unique, and super-practical for little ones.

Oishi-m (pronounced Oy-shee-em) combines delicious retro, vintage and kimono fabric with denim and cotton to create a practical and clever range for babies and kids. The current range for boys and girls in sizes 000-2 includes shorts and skinny-leg jeans with plenty of room for a nappy, cute-as-can-be shrugs, and t-shirts up to size 4. Summer is in full force and I've been searching for cool but sun smart things for my little one. Mind you, it's tough to get her to wear anything at the moment, but with sun this harsh, it's important to have lots of cover-up options that won't make her feel weighed down.

I first met artist Samantha from Jetta's Nest at our Brown Owls group in Brisbane where she wowed us all with an incredible doll she had made with an intricately-painted sassy face. Since then, Sam's gorgeous faces have gone on to adorn button badges, as well as a range of soft toys, prints, art cards and gorgeous clothes for kids.

I particularly adore the range of Jetta's Nest appliqued children's clothes that incorporate Sam's art along with recycled/vintage materials. Three Little Trees children's clothes

I wish I could crochet well enough to make the incredible duffle coat that Kate and Jacqui have designed for their Three Little Trees kids label. It's incredible! There is also an adorable collection of clothing, bedding and accessories for little boys and girls that you have to check out (the kimono top and geisha dress have been runaway successes).

The Winter 09 range has been created in collaboration with talented UK illustrator Sandra Isaksson of ISAK. I can't wait to see what Summer looks like!

I also love that Jacqui and Kate attach native seeds to each swing tag (country-specific of course) so that the little ones can plant and watch them grow wherever they are in the world.

Welcome New Sponsor Magnolia Square boutique fair

It's not only Brisbane that has some happening markets in July, Sydney-siders are so lucky to have the fabulous Magnolia Square shopping event pop up from Thursday 2nd July - Saturday 4th July, 2009 at The Teahouse, Royal Randwick Racecourse.

I would like to extend a huge welcome to Magnolia Square as a new advertiser on Bondville and encourage everyone in Sydney to get along to this boutique fair and support your local designers, crafters and independent artists. There will be more than 50 retailers to browse, including a "Tiny and Small" section to get your stylish gear for little ones, and late-night shopping on Thursday night. Bluebird and Honey clothes for kids

Launched in March this year, new kids (and soon to be all-ages) brand Bluebird and Honey has taken the market by storm. The clothing range for kids age 0 to 6 includes appliqued t-shirts, pinnies and rompers. You'll also find accessories including cards, cool softies and snuggly blankets with the signature applique.

I'm really taken with the elephant design - simple, hip and unisex. And the pinwhale corduroy and denim pinnies have been selling like hotcakes with their sweet characters and attention to detail. Too cute!

Ivy Designs clothes for girls

I love hearing from Bondville readers, especially about your talents and creations. I was thrilled to hear from Wynona who introduced me to the children's label that she has developed with her sister Anna - Ivy Designs. I immediately feel in love with the stylish range of clothes for girls.

Based in Sydney, Ivy Designs are fun, bold pieces featuring gorgeous detail such as appliqué, quirky buttons, and ric rac. Designed to mix and match, you'll find delicate peasant blouses, fun pinnies, pocket skirts, cord pants, kimono jackets, rosette hair clips, bibs and t-shirts.

Sooki Baby baby clothes

One of my favourite baby shower gifts was an adorable Sooki Baby onesie that Sophie wore forever. The quality was fantastic, the design super-cool, and it came with a Sooki Baby monkey keychain that also provided much entertainment in line at the bank/shops/Medicare.

This season's pieces by Sydney-based designer Dijana are inspired by journeys - a trip to Nan's, Betsy in France, Gas & Go, and Choo Choo Train. Wait until you see the adorable mechanic's romper. Too much fun.

Tea Princess clothes for girls

The design world is all about doilies at the moment. You'll find touches of crochet and lace on everything from linens, to tableware, clocks, ceramics and soft furnishings. If you love this look, you'll adore the sweet old fashioned styling of Tea Princess clothes for little girls.

Based in Sydney (and soon to be the UK), Tea Princess is a range of clothing and accessories for girls aged newborn to 6 years, characterised by beautiful hand-finished details and an old-world charm. Fab Baby Fab smocks, toys and clothes for kids

Fabia from Fab Baby Fab is such a clever cookie. Based in Brooklet, NSW, she is a creative soul who whips up great smocks, clothes and cuddly toys for kids.

I really adore the bib smocks that Fabia makes with a terry towelling front, fun fabric sleeves in designer fabrics and tie at the neck. Makes dinner time a breeze as the smocks cover all the spots that a bib misses. Easy to throw in the wash, these make great protective garments for feeding, craft and play.

Moobear Designs eco-friendly children's t-shirts

Moobear Designs is a brand new Australian children's clothing brand on the block, with a passion for the arts and crafts, sustainable living and the environment. And the designs are super-hip to boot!

The lovely Stephanie and Carlos from Moobear Designs have created a cool line of t-shirts based on images drawn by their daughter Moo (that's the clever Moo pictured above in the fantastic green earth tee with cute-as-a-button Bear). Each item is handmade and unique, using recycled fabrics appliqued onto ethically-made and environmentally-friendly t-shirts. There are six original designs available with more to come soon.

MiniLaLa modern cloth nappies

I almost died when I spotted the Amy Butler and Alexander Henry material on these modern cloth nappies! I'm all for making environmentally-friendly products more appealing to people and lovely Carli Green has done a fabulous job making reusable nappies look incredible. Her MiniLaLa nappies are hot, hot, hot! So hot, that they all sell out they day they are stocked.

Featuring a snazzy designer cotton fabric outer, a hidden waterproof layer, a suedecloth inner and bamboo and microfibre liners, the nappies are one-size-fits-all and adjustable with velcro tabs. See the MiniLaLa Information page for details on washing and reusing.
